Musical Chairs at Noor Dubai

Big changes are going on at Noor Dubai, the UAE’s most popular religious Arabic radio station.

Two of Noor Dubai’s most popular hosts, Jamal Mattar and Hamda Hassan, are moving from the high-rating Al Bath Al Mubasher show (Live Broadcasting) to the health show Noor Al Seha (Good Health Guidance).

From March 3, the new host of Al Bath Al Mubasher will be newcomer to Noor Dubai, Thani Juma.

Al Bath Al Mubasher is Noor Dubai’s most important and high profile programme. With a strong focus on highlighting and solving local social issues, Al Bath Al Mubasher invites guest speakers from a variety of organisations and government departments to discuss matters of the moment in depth. Listeners can participate through calls or SMS. The show also includes breaking news, both local and international, as well as religious songs.

Noor Al Seha is also one of the station’s most popular shows. Sponsored by the Ministry of Health, the show will now be expanded to two hours, Sundays to Thursdays 11am to 1pm. This show educates and informs listeners regarding services provided by the Ministry. Features include How Are You Today, a segment about health awareness and disease prevention; With the Doctor, a chance for listeners to ring in with their health questions, as well as Without Mediator, a segment in which a representative from the Ministry answers questions from listeners.
